AIMA is a non- lobbying organization working closely with Industry, Government, Academia and students to further the cause of the Management profession in India.
The organization needed another office space in the city to further their misison and help students and professionals excel in the field of management. The design strategy would ideally thus provide a space away from the hustle and bustle while being physically situated in the middle of all the activity.The design proposed by team SDB was thus called ‘the oasis’ which by definition means ‘something serving as a refuge, relief, or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying, difficult, etc.’ The primary goal was to make the users of the space connect with green landscapes more than with the city scape.This was intended to create a feeling of relaxation and positivity.
‘To bring nature in’ was the goal.
